I had such a pleasant experience with each person whom I came in contact with, beginning with the receptionist, I believe her name is Cindy. She is tall and blonde and so funny. She definitely has the ability to calm anyone's apprehension for their consult visit. She was a wonderful first-contact person and as she was dressed professionally, which makes your first impression nice, she just had such a great ability to make you feel like she was your friend as well.
Mary Ann, she is PERFECT for the position she holds. She is confident and dresses to the tee. She had a great command of her job and she inspires you to feel excited about the surgery just by looking at her. She is beautiful and smart and added to the whole experience by having a good attitude when dealing with all of the paperwork involved in this experience. It can definitely get overwhelming at this stage of the game and she kept us smiling and comfortable. She is a great asset when it comes to the monetary stage of the process.
So on to meet Patty in the recovery room. She was amazing as well She explained everything that was going to take place the day of surgery and I never felt rushed. I felt very confident by the time I left and even got a call the day before surgery making sure I had no further questions. Day of surgery she was very reassuring and I don't know how she did it, but I never even felt the IV go into my hand. After surgery, she kept me in good company and was very accomodating. I felt completely at ease with her professionalism and great spirit. You can tell she is a true professional.
At 7:00 p.m. there was a nurst/shift change and I feel bad to say at that point I can't remember this nurse's name but she was an absolute angel. She took constant care of me the whole night and made sure I never needed a thing. She was so attentive that even when she was in the other area of the office and heard me just move in bed, she was magically right there making sure I was all right. It was almost like she could read my mind when I needed something. She was so kind and we talked and shared some laughs on the TV and it was great to have a friend with me. I'm sure I could have stayed there a few more days with that kind of care.
Dr. Nunn, I also want to thank you and your assistant for all of your expertise and hand-holding. I just love your personality and your enthusiasm. Your suggestions were always considerate and just that, "suggestions." I appreciate you taking the time to explain how the different procedures work and making your suggestions. As patients we only know we want to look good and know what we don't like. We need honest opinions and answers to get our results to come out fantastically. Thanks for making that happen. I also want to mention your assistant (i'm so horrible to forget names, but I do remember faces and experiences). She was so quick and on the ball. You could tell she was comfortable working with you and assisting. I want to thank you both for putting up with my fear of stitches, which I'm sure was strangely pathetic and annoying considering that was the most minor detail relating to the surgery. I loved how your assistant hummed and sung while the stitches were being removed to redirect my attention from the removal of the stitches. And funniest part of all is it wasn't even a bad experience at all. So thank you all for everything you did.
